The coaches at RunRX are dedicated to building a community of healthy runners. With a focus on proper mechanics and strategic training plans, our prescriptions will have you running farther, faster, and stronger while promoting injury prevention.

Whatever you need for excellent running, we’ve got your prescription!

Frequently Asked Questions

You'll get an in-person gait analysis and learn the mechanics of running through drills and functional strength training. This includes hips, feet and everything else around running, such as self-care and injury prevention. Foam rolling, stretching and how to implement the skills and self-care are also included.

If you do have an injury, we still highly recommend attending the clinic for a couple of reasons:

  1. If you work on your skill while recovering, then you can prevent the injury from returning when you get back to running.
  2. Even if you can't do all of the activities in the clinic, I can show you how to work the drills and how to correct as you recover.

The greatest part about the RunRX clinic is that there's really very little running in terms of distance. You’ll learn new running movements and techniques through drills, practice drills and then practice. You'll take lots of steps but there's no distance running. I promise you don't have to have any prior running experience to enjoy the clinic.

Yes! To prepare for your clinic, there are a couple of things you can do:

  1. Get your feet and ankles ready because you're going to bounce for the day. I recommend starting some ankle circles and ball-of-foot hops.
  2. Have a little background on what it is you're going to do and keep an open, curious mind!

If you would like to host a clinic, we need a minimum of 15 participants to make it happen and we look to cap at about 30. We require the paid commitment 30 days prior to the event or we aren’t able to cover travel.

In order to host a clinic, you’ll need an inside space for everyone to gather for discussion and to watch the gait analysis. Additionally, we’ll need an outlet , a restroom and then a space of about 50 to 100 meters for running; parking lots work really well.

Please Note: this information, along with the proper number of paid clients must be confirmed before any travel arrangements will be made.
